MAKROCLEAR® is based on Arla Plast AB´s long experience of producing PC sheet in mono, co- and even tri-extrusion. Extremely high impact strength and high temperature resistance are the main advantages of PC compared to other thermoplastic materials.

QUALITY
MAKROCLEAR® has an outstanding high clarity and surface quality, making it the best choice for replacing other transparent plastics and glass. The constant high quality level also helps to improve machining, screen printing and thermoforming.
FIRE PERFORMANCE
In case of a fire, a MAKROCLEAR® sheet will melt and create a passage where heat and smoke will be let out of the building. It will have no contribution to the growth of a fire through flame spread.
IMPACT STRENGTH
MAKROCLEAR® has more than 10 times the impact strength of high impact PMMA and more than twice the impact strength of PETG, yet is very easy to thermoform or cold bend into complex shapes.
APPLICATION AREAS
The fantastic properties of MAKROCLEAR® make it a perfect solution for machine protection, safety glazing, ice hockey rinks, vandal protection etc. MAKROCLEAR® thermoforms very easily and is often used in signs, displays, riot shields, windows, medical equipment, bicycle helmets etc.
